Honey Bee Nuc Hive pickup details:
** Nucs are sold out! Contact me and I can help make a referral to still get you bees.
- We provide transport boxes. Nuc pickup dates are weather dependant. I will be in contact with you regularly with updates for when your bees are ready.
- At home you will need your own deep hive body, bottom board, a feeder, a lid, feeder, hive tool, bee veil or jacket, beekeeping gloves, and a smoker.
- Because there are young bees emerging, nucs build up quickly and need to be transferred to full size colonies very soon after arrival. Feeding 1:1 sugar water the first week is an optional step to help them build up and draw comb. This helps them get fully established and strong for their first season!
- Total price for our nucs is $185. $150 is due at pickup and $35 deposit to reserve your nuc.
